Section 1 – About SCU
Mission Statement:
Sofia Christian University exists to equip ministers and leaders to fulfill their God-given callings with excellence, integrating Theology, Psychology, Nutrition, and Naturopathy into a Christ-centered approach to ministry and wellness.
Philosophy:
We believe education should transform the spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23), preparing students to serve God and others with integrity and compassion.

Section 2 – Admissions Policies
- Faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Agreement with SCU’s Statement of Faith.
- Submission of application, personal testimony, and educational records.
- Payment of application fee.
- Pastoral/ministry reference.
- Interview if required.
Section 3 – Academic Policies
- Academic Integrity: Honesty in all assignments and exams.
- Attendance: Regular participation is required for online and in-person classes.
- Grading Scale:
- A = 90–100%
- B = 80–89%
- C = 70–79%
- F = Below 70%
- A = 90–100%
- Graduation Requirements: Completion of all program credits with minimum GPA, plus clearance of all financial obligations.
Section 4 – Code of Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Live in a manner consistent with biblical teachings.
- Maintain integrity in personal, academic, and spiritual life.
- Refrain from dishonesty, immorality, substance abuse, and disruptive behavior.
- Respect faculty, staff, and fellow students.
Section 5 – Financial Policies
- Tuition must be paid by the first day of each month.
- Late payments incur a $150 fee.
- Students with unpaid tuition may have access to classes, materials, or grades withheld until payment is made.
- As a non-profit institution, SCU maintains affordable tuition to make Christian education accessible.
Section 6 – Student Support
- Academic advising and mentorship.
- Spiritual guidance and prayer support.
- Wellness ministry resources.
Section 7 – Disciplinary Procedures
Violations of academic or conduct policies may result in warnings, probation, suspension, or dismissal, depending on severity.
Section 8 – Graduation & Ministry Placement
SCU assists graduates in pursuing ministry opportunities, wellness ministry positions, or launching independent Kingdom-based initiatives.
